Meet Travis

Travis Forrester was born and raised in Blue Ridge and has proudly called District 17 home his entire life. The values he learned here — faith, hard work, service, and accountability — continue to guide his leadership.

He and his wife, Noelle, have been married for 18 years and are raising their two children in the same community that shaped him. Travis understands the challenges facing local families and believes county government should support — not burden — the people it serves.

Travis holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Criminal Justice from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from Presbyterian College.

With more than 18 years of experience in public safety and emergency management, Travis currently serves as National Director of Security Vulnerability Assessments for Armoured One and as a founding board member of the National Council of School Safety Directors. He has served as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, supervised the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office School Enforcement Unit, and led Security, Safety, and Emergency Management for Greenville County Schools — dedicating his career to protecting families and keeping communities safe.

A committed community volunteer, Travis has coached youth and varsity football, led the Blue Ridge Youth Association, and supported Special Olympics programs.

District 17 isn’t just where he lives — it’s home. Travis is running for Greenville County Council to serve the community that raised him and to help ensure it remains a place where families can thrive, and neighborhoods are protected.
